We are heading into cold weather, and the flu season has officially begun. Flu and Covid-19 can be caught simultaneously. Get your flu shot, and make plans to celebrate the season, while keeping your family and friends healthy!

I agree with Gov Gov. Henry McMaster on the registering of lobbyist. The City of Columbia started requiring lobbyist registration over 10 years ago. The public has a right to know who is lobbying for a particular issue. #SCSOTS2021

Thx Cindi Ross Scoppe for highlighting a few bad bills as well as a few good ones in this column. Two bills I’ve sponsored are listed as esp. good—one is the need for State Ethics lobbying laws to apply to local government which Gov. Gov. Henry McMaster also mentioned in his State of State
