Fathers are instrumental parts of our community and I would like to thank all of those who help make Prince George’s County the great county that it is and especially the teachers that balance their lives as parents as well. Happy Father’s Day!

From the first announcement of freed people in Galveston, TX the was made on June 19, 1865 to this being the second year celebrating this occasion as a federal holiday, we wish all of you a happy Juneteenth and to remember everyone that fought for the freedom of all in America.

We have two days left to vote. I would like to ask for you to choose Peter Franchot for Governor, Monique Anderson Walker for Lt. Governor, Latasha Ward for Dist 24 Delegate and of course myself for District 6 School Board.

When the hail came down last night at the Sports & Learning Complex and most of the other campaigns left, mine stayed to weather the storm. I also took a moment to vote. Don’t forget Sean Michael Wilson for School Board Dist 6.
