Autumn is coming the chill betrays sunshine and leaves will turn into many colours before skeletal boughs leave us with interstices... X

the chill betrays
sunshine and leaves
will turn into many colours
before skeletal boughs

The evening wears on wending through its colours eventually towards pitch and lamplight in the village I watch seaward a gradual decline downward the sun's journey ending in strength where tomorrow's early rise will greet my stretching limbs. X

That day rain in torrents filled our window's view coming at virginia creeper wind tearing attentively while panes shook in parked cars washed for free beautiful Bruckner's music only an evening before... the world looked lost now driving north to home. X #poetry

Oh gosh they are Juniper, we used to worry so much about our cat William because his brother went far afield and got run down. William lived until he was fourteen in 2018 but we still miss him so much. We couldn't have another because we would worry so. X 🐾❤️

Geology is not something to get possessive about it surfaced millions of years before our complex questions that go back only to our present existences we share rock formations live on them for short spaces of time as passengers do on sea liners before finally disembarking. X

I have to leave the news behind wait until I see people passing with bundles on their heads vehicles with as much as motoring away from hell to find respite can carry to know we've reached a nadir only Nature gives me strength that outside world of wonder and reliable belief.
