Cotes du Jura Chardonnay from Domaine Rolet. Fantastic nose of almonds with lemon verbena. No sign of oak. Clean and wonderful fruit with long finish. 👍👍

GBroglia 1966 Barolo showing its age. Served with truffle risotto and poussin and port reduction. Very limited nose of pomegranate and rendered bacon. Sweet palate but no fruit. Very faded. 2010 Guido Porto Barolo made up for this.

It’s Autumn so it’s Roast Pork. A wonderful Barbera D’Alba a perfect foil. Elio Grasso is an artist with this grape. Stunning fruit and spice on the nose and so silky smooth on the palate which just oozes class. #Italy does it again. 🥰
