Last night’s Gala on the Greenway showcased the power public green spaces have to connect our city, neighborhoods, & people. Through programming, art, and native plants, the Rose Kennedy Greenway plays a critical role in caring for and activating the park for all that enjoy it.

Next, we celebrated the 54th anniversary of Myrtle calling Boston home. Myrtle helps tell us the story of her fellow sea turtles, which are endangered in most of the world. Let us strive to create a world where turtles everywhere are protected! wbur.org/news/2024/06/1…

And last week our Sea Turtle Hospital coordinated the safe release of eight rehabilitated turtles back into the wild. These turtles typically come to us after being cold-stunned and washed ashore on Cape Cod, and release day is a testament to our world-class animal care team.
