#WakeBOC has voted to raise the pay for 327 Wake County EMS employees as part of a new market pay structure to help retain our great team and attract new members. The raises range from 1% to 29%, with an average increase of 21%. This will make Wake EMS a leader in pay in NC! 🚑

It is with sadness to share that a Wake County Sheriff's Office deputy was fatally shot while in the line duty earlier this morning. Please pray for the deputy’s family and this agency.
The #WakeBOC approved two housing actions aimed at creating more affordable housing units across the community. One authorizes a $1-million loan for a City of Raleigh-lead project that will create 27 affordable units across 7 sites in southeast Raleigh.
