First day of teacher lunch!

Homemade apple butter our route 5 Food Lion gave me over 100 bags of apples and the community drop off jars! My students took those apples and made something sweet for our teachers!

One Apple butter lesson can changes many lives!

Varina High school Culinary students got 1st place in bread and two 2nd place in cupcake decorations and taste at the VA State Fair culinary youth competition!

We bring other countries to the classroom. My students research other countries around the world and learn their history and culture and how to prepare their important dishes!

Great start to the day! Advocated for our Henrico Schools’ students and educators with local legislators, ate a tasty breakfast prepared by our students in the VHS Culinary Arts Program & toured our new ACE Center at Hermitage building.

We had a great time serving Ward Elementary Reading and Math night. One of my students got to serve her mom and baby sister tonight which was also cool. We love being in the community.
