The VG Gr. 8 Esports team began their competitive season with Week 1 of Brawlhalla against Fox Lake School and Ecole Munroe Middle School. Thanks Manitoba School Esports Association for organizing! VGMS is proud of our Tier 2 Boys Basketball team who went 4 - 0 at the John Henderson tournament this weekend, bringing home the championship! During February, all VG Bears Gr.6 Ss participated in a soapstone carving workshop with artist Frederick Spence from Peguis First Nation where they created none other than soapstone🐻!! Big thanks to 🎨artists in Schools who helped fund this amazing opportunity. #artistsinschools

#VGBears Gr.6 Ss all participated in the #StudentVoteMB organized by CIVIX Canada (EN) and voted on Sept. 28, They did research projects to learn about all the provincial parties and what each had to offer. We can't wait to find out the results!
