You never know in journalism what your day has in store…ended this one with ~20 journalists outside a Star Island mansion of Sean Combs (Diddy, Puff Daddy). Homeland Security didn’t say if the search’s tied to sexual assault & sex trafficking allegations in lawsuits against him.

The Florida Supreme Court will allow Amendment 4 on the November 2024 ballot. It would enshrine abortion rights in state’s constitution through viability, usually around 24 weeks of pregnancy, if it gets 60% of voters’ approval. The coalition behind this effort is Yes on 4 Florida.

The Florida Supreme Court also upheld a 15-week abortion ban, allowing the state’s more recent 6-week ban to go into effect on May 1. If voters approve Amendment 4 this November, which would protect abortion rights through viability, it’s expected to go into effect in Jan. 2025.
