It’s ’Workbench Wednesday’ and last month members took the bench outside to tackle this behemoth antenna repair. A 120 foot lift was required to re/re the reflector. Visit ve7scc.org for more info about CARESS.

To all club members and those visiting VE7SCC facilities, please be ‘Bear Aware’ when coming and going. Multiple reports of bear activity close to the club entrance. BC Housing will be locking that garbage bin ASAP.

Frequency Friday: Last night’s monthly club meeting was a minute of remembrance for 2 members who have become silent keys. A candle burned in honor of Pierre (VE7MZU) and Dave (VA7DRS) throughout the meeting. Their presence will be deeply missed, but they will not be forgotten.
