Very happy to announce a new release of #OCaml Eglot (1.2.0), an #Emacs minor-mode for OCaml using LSP via Eglot! A lot of bugfixes (since Emacs 30.x), and UX improvements! We also properly handle errors, client commands and capabilities! github.com/tarides/ocaml-… Stay tune!

Still looking for users feedback on Raven to move to an alpha! If you're working on a project that could use OCaml's type safety with Python-like ML capabilities, I'd love to support your use case and develop what you need. Reach out to collaborate on the first release!

If you're interested in editors and developer tools, consider applying to Jane Street! It might be an especially good fit if you're an excited vim or vscode user who would love working on making those experiences better for a den of functional programmers.

After 3 months building Raven Recurse Center, I'm raising funds to work on it full-time. Goal: Make OCaml a first-class citizen in the ML world. Looking for: • ML teams interested in OCaml • OCaml shops needing numerical tools RT appreciated to help me find sponsors 🙏 🧵

"A bit like how React's functional patterns feel more at home in actual functional languages, Raven is becoming what I imagine Jax/Flax intended to be - clean function composition all the way down."

See github.com/art-w/x-ocaml I wrote a short post about my experience playing around with x-ocaml in Jekyll kcsrk.info/ocaml/x-ocaml/… Works pretty well. Looking forward to writing interactive OCaml blog posts!
