1st XI all out for 135. Heelis (34), Aston (36) and Bell (22) but we fall to a 59 run defeat. Charlie Forshaw (4-20) was excellent for the visitors. Safe travels home. We will see you again on Thursday.

Defeat by 9 wickets. Another tough day for our batsman. Thanks to Elizabeth for some great hospitality and good luck for your tour. We move onto De La Salle next week before the Castle’s Festival .

Our Yr 9 and 10 cricketers finished off a very successful season with a 8 wicket win over Haileybury today. Played 6 and won 6 for the season. Well done to all the boys.

1st XI win by 7 wickets at Grainville. Ben Heelis ending on 59 not out. Freddie Harden (25). Wickets were shared around with Louis Pullman (2-9) the pick of the bowlers. Congratulations to Theo Bell on making his 1st XI debut.

Our 1st XI cricketers depart for the Castles Festival on Sunday morning. Looking forward to being hosted by New Hall School and catching up with old friends Kimbolton & Monmouth. Good luck to our all the boys in our squad.

Good start to the Castles Festival for the 1st XI who bowled Kimbolton out for 140 (Heelis 2-21), Pullman (2-16). Rain then reduced our target to 127 in 40 overs and Heelis (71) saw us to a 6 wicket victory. Monmouth beat New Hall in the other match.

1st XI cricketers play Monmouth today in round 2 of the Castles Festival. Kimbolton play hosts New Hall in the other fixture and then the festival dinner takes place this evening. After the rain yesterday, looking forward clearer skies today.

1st XI bowled Monmouth out for 255 (Heelis 2-48), Vowden (2-48), Pullman (2-13). VC 210 all out. Wiseman (74), Aston (43), Heelis (33), Webster (28). Victory for Monmouth by 45 runs. Great effort from our boys today against a top school side.

New Hall 125 all out. 2 wickets each for Brennan, Aston and Heelis. Batters made hard work of the reply but we got to 126 to win by 2 wickets. Heelis 24. Tremendously proud of a really great bunch who did themselves and the school proud this week.

Our season ends with a. Defeat as Christ College win by 6 wickets. A wicket each for Vowden, Webster, Hodgson and Gomersall. Well done to Christ College and safe travels home.

Ben Heelis ends the season as the 1st XI leading runs scorer with 484 runs at an average of 48.80. The highlight his 128 against Farmers. Louis Pullman and Barney Aston end the season as the leading wicket takers with 11 each.

We are at the end of another academic year. A huge thank you to all our pupils and parents for your support this year. For those moving on the new ventures good luck and for those returning we will see you all again in September.
