Today, I had the honor of meeting Elisa Ferreira, Normunds Popens and SK minister of investments Balík, with whom we discussed proposals for the effective use of remaining EU funds and the new 2021 - 2027 programming period.
Very good exchange today with Slovak Deputy Prime Minister Livia Vasakova and Minister Peter Balík on how to optimise the implementation of #Cohesion Policy programmes in 🇸🇰.

Together w/ @LudoOdorPM we had the honor to meet with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. SK Recovery Plan is undeniably a successful tool for systematic change in #Slovakia. It is important to continue with the implementation in order to submit the 3rd payment request.
Despite the war, our cooperation remains strong & supportive. We feel the need to cultivate our relationship even further. I’m glad that our meeting with Olga Stefanishyna & minister Balík developed into concrete deliverables - #MoU. Let’s make full use of the untapped potential.

Today we announced the successful projects for decarbonisation of industry energy within SK Recovery Plan. Efficiency improvements and innovative technologies will save up to 7.5 % of total CO2 emission in Slovakia. #NextGenEU
Good news for 🇸🇰: @SKRecovery_Plan amendment got 🟢green light from European Commission. The revised plan now contains #REPowerEU chapter w/ additional investment of 403mil € for green transition. 🇸🇰 has more realistic & greener plan: 6.4bn € 64 reforms & 60 major investments.
Green goes hand in hand with modernisation of the economy - this is an important message from the European Commission 🇪🇺. The #RRF and SK Recovery Plan plan is the embodiment of these ideas and is already delivering results in Slovakia 🇸🇰.
Another achievement of 🇸🇰RRP ✔ I am pleased to announce that today 🇸🇰is submitting to the European Commission the 3rd payment request under the SK Recovery Plan Plan. I thank all my colleagues for their dedication. There is no time to slow down as we prepare for the 4th payment request.
🇪🇺 Recovery and resilience facility is going in full speed - reforms and investments in the Member States to boost economic growth. Discussed the implementation of 🇸🇰 national plan with Deputy PM Livia Vasakova - good progress and more work is needed in coming months.

Great news for Slovakia. SK Recovery Plan has received a positive assessment from the European Commission on its third payment request. Hard work pays off. Thanks to the courage of politicians who push through even unpopular reforms, and to the officials who enforce their implementation.
