With thanks to Mark Kacar I have just tried out AI and have a title for a course on the barbarians ‘From Goths to Mongols: A Horde-able History’. It’s mind-blowing and rather scary!

Saw the amazing David Sedaris last night. Couldn’t stay in queue for signing books - 3 hour wait. We were literally at the back of the queue and had to give up! Would like to think he sells discarded clothes in charity shop – would head there from Kent!

This little place was great. Basic but really local. The aqueduct of Valens is in the background. Lentil soup next to nothing in price was delicious. Very friendly ⁦Bettany Hughes💙

Everyone I know in North Tonbridge have had no problems with lack of water. That is a posh end where the private school is located. Still no still full water capacity south of the station. Am I being paranoid!? Mark Hood Tom Tugendhat

Sadly, perhaps it is time for English National Opera to close. The Colosseum has never sorted their acoustics. We paid £500, to sit in the stalls and struggled to hear the words. That is poor. The building is not fit for purpose. Why can’t the singers wear individual mics?

The National Gallery Siena exhibition is beautiful but a nightmare when using audio guide. The signage as to galleries is non-existent. Forget the guide and enjoy the artefacts.
