No more leaks found. Fire crews are wrapping up. There’s still some cleanup work being done by contractors. At approximately 6 PM yesterday, VRFA crews assisted by Puget Sound Fire, South King Fire, and King County Medic One responded to a structure fire in the 32500 block of 51st Ave S with fire spreading to nearby vegetation. No injuries and cause of the fire is under investigation.

Puget Sound Fire, Mountain View Fire & Rescue, VRFA, SKF&R, and KIng County Medic One responded to a to a motorcycle accident which resulted in the motorcyclist down a 200 foot ravine.

Firefighters located the patient and began patient treatment while other firefighters, specially trained in technical rescue used a rope system to lower 3 firefighters and a stokes stretcher to bring the patient topside.

The rope rescue call occurred in the 15700 block of Auburn Black Diamond Road.

VRFA crews responded to a report of a residential fire in the 2800 blk of R Pl SE this morning. One patient was treated on scene. Three residents and a dog have been displaced and will be assisted by the Red Cross. The fire is now out. The cause is under investigation.

Crews are on location of a small passenger plane that landed in an empty field in the 3100 block of Milwaukee Blvd N near Alpac Elementary. No injuries to plane occupants.
