Despite government stating the Green Belt is valued, the evidence in the Colne Valley in recent years is a marked decline in quality, with an explosion of development proposals. We are involved in a workshop as to what is going on with planning in 2024 & what can be done about it

RIP Frank Field. A tireless campaigner, including on climate change, with Cool Earth but one of his great ideas. We will take forward our mission of people-led rainforest protection with his memory very much in mind.

Frank Field was a tireless campaigner fighting injustice & poverty. He coined the term 'modern slavery' that brought the UK's attention to this crime. He was one of our first trustees and leaves a powerful legacy. Our thoughts are with his family and many friends. Frank Field

Very sad news to read of the passing of Frank Field. A wonderful human being who worked tirelessly fighting injustices. I was privileged to work alongside him on modern slavery issues. A term he first coined. He inspired so many. RIP Lord Field of Birkenhead
