UWL hosts the Mark Guthrie Legacy Invitational Saturday in Hetzel Fieldhouse. Guthrie led the men's track & field program from 1988-2006, winning 22 NCAA Division III and 34 WIAC Championships. UWL Men's Track & Field Sam Blaskowski has been selected the WIAC Kwik Trip Track Athlete of the Week. He won the 60-meter dash at the Mark Guthrie Legacy Invitational on February 8 with a time of 6.62, breaking his own NCAA Division III record of 6.64 set last season.

Sam Blaskowski of UWL Men's Track & Field lowered his own NCAA Division III 100-meter record to 10.05 (+1.1) yesterday at the UWL Final Qualifier. Blaskowski now owns nine of the top-ten fastest marks in NCAA DIII history. ustfccca.org/records-lists/… (We'll need to update the list with his 10.05)
Sam Blaskowski was also part of UWL Men's Track & Field's 4x100 relay that broke its own NCAA Division III record yesterday. The Eagle quartet of Blaskowski, Ryder Smith, Evan Maurud and Lyndon Hemmrich-Hartman went 39.53 compared to the 39.72 from last year. ustfccca.org/records-lists/…
