We are heartbroken for our neighbors in New Hampshire over this tragedy. Health care workers face unacceptable violence while trying to do their jobs. We must continue the conversations that need to happen to find solutions and keep them safe.

Today, we are presenting our budget to the Green Mountain Care Board. Throughout the day, we will share our FY25 budget, which aims to increase access to care and meet the needs of the central Vermont community.

We recently received our Primary Stroke Certification for providing the critical elements necessary to achieve long-term success in improving outcomes for stroke patients.

Like many of our health partners, we are facing an aging population in central Vermont, which is forecasted to put more stress on commercial insurance premiums.

Our workforce programs provide our employees with opportunities to grow their careers in highly sought-after roles while continuing to earn an income. These initiatives, which started at CVMC, have now become a network program.

We are using technology and data to make significant improvements to access and outcomes across the hospital, including OB/Midwifery/Gynecology. Additionally, we will soon have 24/7 midwifery coverage.

We work with many local organizations to ensure the health of central Vermonters and to improve public health outside of the hospital.
