UTFS Alert - There has been a water main break on Middle Drive, in the drive between Perkins, Ferris, and Science/Engineering. Water is currently off to Perkins and Ferris. Middle Drive is closed to traffic in the area between Perkins, Ferris, and Science/Engineering.

The second floor handicap entrance to Science/Engineering has been washed out. Crews are on their way to begin excavation and repairs. We do not know how long repairs will take but anticipating it could be the remainder of the day.

Crews are also determining if they can temporarily feed water to Perkins and Ferris. We will provide updates as information is available.

UTFS Update - Over the weekend, water service was restored to the Hill area, including Ferris Hall. Natural gas service has been restored to the Hill. The roadway is open & will be a temporary gravel surface at this time. Permanent restoration of the roadway will occur later.
