My 38 year old brother in law (with 2 kids under 10) is sitting in a great hospital Ochsner Health but is requiring transfer to UC San Diego Health for pulmonary artery endarterectomy. BCBS New Mexico is road blocking (taking forever to approve) the transfer to a higher level of care

Today marks 3 years Mayo Clinic Urology Had a great week with Bridget Lang Findlay, MD @scmcgriff and one visiting Alex Skokan from UW Urology Finishing off with #cadaverlab with these amazing residents!!

27 year old surgical resident Hugh Hampton Young is approached in the hallway by Halsted and informed that he would be in charge of the new Department of Genitourinary Surgery. Young would later build the template for urology training in the US and found the Journal of Urology.
