URNU Wales came away from the Regional Sports Weekend as Regional Champions! 🏴strong effort!
Members of URNU Wales have been completing their RYA first aid course. Building confidence and improving knowledge to provide first aid ashore and at sea.
After 10 days and mere 260 kilometres hiking through some of the most spectacular scenery former URNU Northumbria CO has completed the Camino de Santiago. The unit Coxn has completed his Holyhead to HMS Cambria cycle, 237.6 miles in 23 hours 07 minutes and 26 seconds. 💪🏼 effort.
This month, OCs from URNU Wales have had opportunities to visit HMS Somerset, HMS Magpie and RRS James Cook. Thank you to HMS Somerset HMS Magpie and National Oceanography Centre for having us!
OCs from URNU Wales, URNU Bristol , URNU Devon and URNU Birmingham were recently able to undertake damage control and firefighting training at HMS Raleigh. They completed the Damage Repair Instructional Unit, as well as learning the basics of firefighting at sea.🔥🌊
