We are tasked with the task of playing the permanent watchdog 4 students & to ensure UP concedes with constructive demands of students.

We seek to enable long term solutions to Pertinent issues students are facing which must be implemented by UP.

We will create a regular platform where students and management will engage on pertinent issues = provide genuine & sustainable solutions.

We show the ability 2 hold the Uni accountable 4 all their actions &execute change we demand-w/o having 2 quickly resort 2 xtreme measures.

Focus point: referendum on Constitution for Student Governance,Accommodation&funding crisis, mass expulsions and suspensions &res exclusion

What are your thoughts/experiences on the Institutional Culture at UP? #UPCrisis

The organizations that participate in this comm include SASCO,EFFSC UP, PASMA,ANCYL, TSPA, DASO UP, YCL, MSA TUKS & BLK WOMXNS MOVEMENT

It has come to our attention that there are students calling for a meeting and a demonstration to be held today at 9AM at the Piazza. (1)

We would like to clarify that : -we have requested a meeting with UP management to discuss the matters raised. (3)

Th meeting will b live tweeted so all students cn actively engage & contribute 2what is being said.This will not be a 'backdoor meeting'.(4)

-it is important to understand the current climate we find ourselves in as students at UP..(5)

...Mobilization and demonstrations will be the last resort once we all have exhausted every other channel of engagement. (6)

-It hs shown,th only result demonstrations hv achieved is 2 perpetuate th victimisation of th same students we claim2protect by the uni (7)

Our plan of action Is to engage with students on campus in order 2 understand and note their grievances.(8)
