Today! Graham of Graham Pilling will be in the UpCo gallery in Otley recovering from the cycle across the hills to get there. He’ll be this afternoon’s host for the UPHILL exhibition - he likes to call it “invigilating” - all welcome!

The exhibition is over and the final evening was great. Over the three events we talked about running, painting, cycling and art. It was lovely. Fuck the Coronation.

Last night’s lovely end-of-the-exhibition event, Rich Seipp and Heather Dawe talking about (frankly ridiculous) cycling rides. Coming next to UpCo is the month-long Sun Up Festival - music, art, films, all sorts of shenanigans. Keep an eye out.

SUN UP FESTIVAL IS BACK! Otley’s festival of Summer Solstice with exhibition and events for everyone. We are partnering with Otley Live for an exciting programme of music - Come and join us at UpCo. And for starters, an evening with the fantastic Carol Hodge.

Draw Up! A unique event at UpCo, Otley – jazz-poet-trio Atatu will play in the round as we draw, sketch and paint, responding to both the music and the movement of the band. Very limited spaces, essential drawing materials provided but feel free to bring your own…

Setting up the room for this evening’s showing of ‘Orlando’. Centre of Otley, feel free to have a swim in the river before you get here! Starts at 7pm.

We hosted Carol Hodge tonight. She was superb. We can’t believe we set up a space where people can come and be brilliant. You should join us.
