Of course profit goes to shareholders. They gave money to the company. And chances are the employee’s 401k and your retirement (invested in stock) benefitted also...if you were smart. The employee should negotiate the wage...or walk. There are other jobs

Wages did not remain stagnant. Check the increases in minority wages prior to the pandemic. The bottom quintile gained the most!!!Good grief.

You have got to be kidding me! The Treasury is establishing a climate “hub?” Just great. Now we have another unaccountable policy maker with a dubious agenda in financial markets. “Climate risk on banking and lending?” Give me a break.

The spending has to stop. We’ve got businesses who can’t find workers because we pay them too much to stay home. If Biden gets what he wants, our government’s role in the economy will be too large. Free markets are far better than command economies.

Modern Monetary Policy should have a tombstone placed immediately. With little hope, Dems should institute supply side policies now. Inflation at 9.1% is living proof Keynes ought to have a headstone right next to MMP.

And for the love of all that is holy, do not tell me core inflation is not that bad. So you take out food and energy. What persons goes without either of those for even a day?!!

Have not posted a thing in a great while. I know I taught it but never thought I’d see government fueled inflation, and yet here it is. Would like to know how all my former #millcreek former macro kids are doing.
