When visiting the #EmergencyRoom, all patients are treated based on their degree of illness, not the order they come in. If your illness isn’t urgent, visiting an urgent care center might be a better option. Learn more: umms.org/EmergencyCare

As we reflect on the anniversary of September 11, 2001, we remember and honor the individuals who lost their lives during this tragic event and salute our first responders for their bravery to protect us every day.

Final regulatory hurdle passed for UM Shore Regional Medical Center (UM SRMC) Project. Groundbreaking for the new UM SRMC is anticipated in summer of 2025, with construction of the hospital anticipated to be completed at the end of summer 2028. More here: shorturl.at/q60Uw

The Cancer Center at UMSRH is now offering easier, shorter radiation treatment for pts with early-stage breast cancer. Known as Accelerated Partial Breast Irradiation (APBI), this course of treatment is limited to the immediate area surrounding the tumor tinyurl.com/2s49haah
