🎉 It’s official! People juggling paid employment and unpaid care will have a #RightToCarersLeave for the very first time. The Carer’s Leave Bill has received Royal Assent, meaning it will be the law for all employers in England, Scotland and Wales to provide carer’s leave. 🧵

An historic moment! Today, the Carer's Leave Bill has received Royal Ascent meaning it will become law The Carer's Leave Act will give employees the right to take unpaid leave from work to care for family or friends This will help a huge amount of unpaid carers across the UK!
