North Devon set us 229 to win in 30. They struck a hard ball. They struck it yonder, thither and Donny Hathaway. Repeatedly. Coach clipped their wings, bowling tighter than Errol Flynn’s trousers. JG glided in like Joel Garner. Bounce! Pace! Gadzooks! #UCSGtour

Our chase was the Careless & JC show. Together they put on 195, at about 8 an over. Both should’ve hauled tonnage but, like Johns Belushi and Lennon, they both fell in the eighties. #UCSGtour

After Careless (88) and JC (87), there was a tricky 20ish to get, but we coasted over the line with two gorgeous cover drives from the Doc. Excellent game. Great to have now won 4 out of 5 on #UCSGtour One more to play, tomorrow night in #Bristol.
