🚀 The Ubuntu Leaders Academy network has no limits and flew to Asia for another journey towards building bridges!

🇰🇪 Taita Taveta University Launch the first Ubuntu Leaders Academy Club and becomes the first university to launch the Ubuntu Club in Kenya. A total number of 30 leaders were trained.

👩‍💻👨‍💻 The IPAV International Team organised a Webinar about the environment, under the theme “Resilience and bridge-building. Climate crisis adaptation and mitigation: perspectives from Ubuntu Leaders”. 111 Ubuntu young participants has attended the virtual room.

👨‍🏫 The Ubuntu Leaders Academy was recognized by Virtual Educa, with the José María Antón award! Within the scope of the World Forum for Citizenship and Education, IPAV was recognized for educational innovation, with the ALU project developed at Ubuntu Schools.

🇰🇪 The Ubuntu Leaders Academy flew to Kilifi county, Kenya, where 16 news youngs leaders were trained. In a community where drug abuse and unemployment are two of the major problems, the goal was to empower them with innovative solutions that enable them to face the challenges.

🙌 On 5 December, the Ubuntu Global Network will celebrate Nelson Mandela Remembrance Day.The initiative will feature Professor John Volmink who will give a presentation on Nelson Mandela's legacy as a servant leader.

🌎 In Senegal, the Ubuntu Leaders Academy continues to grow! Even before the end of the year, Ubuntu Sénégal/Casamance held another series of Ubuntu Weeks with youngs from the Virtual University of Senegal. 📢The project has grown consistently since 2019, when it was launched.

✈️ IPAV flew on a mission to Mombasa, Kenya, to host a ChangeLab on Tourism and Cultural Heritage. 📝The workshop is entitled "Changing the Story" and is the starting point for the drafting of the Strategic and Action Plan of the six counties of the Kenyan coast.

🚨 Last week, an earthquake of catastrophic magnitude hit southern Turkey and northern Syria. IPAV and the Ubuntu Leaders Academy are joining forces with people affected by this disaster by launching the SOS UBUNTU Fundraising Campaign for the Jesuit Support Centre in Aleppo.

🇩🇪 The Ubuntu Leaders Academy is in Prien, Germany, implementing the Ubuntu method and inspiring future disseminators of the philosophy in the country. ✋Thank you to all those who, every day, remain committed to the mission of building bridges!

🇵🇪 69 new Ubuntu leaders in Latin America! The Ubuntu Leaders Academy, together with the Catholic University Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo, facilitated two trainings for young Peruvians in the city of Chiclayo, where relationships with the educational community were strengthened.

With more ties of humanity and interconnectedness, the spirit of Ubuntu was created between 32 new participants and 13 trainers in Dema, Mashona. The trainees are School leaders (Prefects) and junior parliamentarians, who have been trained to imbibe the five pillars of Ubuntu.

🇧🇪The Ubuntu Leaders Academy was in Brussels for two days of training with a group of 17 young Europeans who are participating in the European Leadership Program. The mission falls within the ULA@EU project, funded by the National Agency Erasmus + - Education and Training.

🇿🇦 Rui Marques was in South Africa to continue spreading the Ubuntu seed. For the IPAV President, "having received from South Africa this gift called Ubuntu it becomes very special that we can now share our Ubuntu Leaders' Academies methodology with this great country."

🫂 During the Ubuntu Global Network Monthly Meeting held on Tuesday, April 25th the thematic focus was on mental health awareness. The guest speakers were Vaishnavi Ravi and Jahnavi Singh, both ULA alumni of the Ubuntu Leaders Academy Digital - Asia Edition.
