TOP THREE IN THE STATE. Senior Tyrus Smith earns bronze in discus for Kearney Boys Track with a throw of 54.71 meters (179 feet and 6 inches) in the Class 4 State Championships. Smith also medaled in shot put yesterday.

TOP FOUR IN THE STATE. Kearney boys track and field earns fourth overall as a team with 37 total points in the Class 4 State Championships. This is the fifth state trophy in a row for Kearney Boys Track.

So proud of these boys fight over the last 2 days and we capped it off with a 4th place finish! Congratulations on a fantastic year! Conference and District Champions and a top 4 finish in the state!
