Did a deep dive on Luke. Blocking needs HELP. His old/new TE coach should be helpful. Runs crisp routes and can get open. Makes contested and jaw dropping catches but seems to have a problem with dropping easy passes over the middle. Matt Henderson is my fav. He’s our future TE1

One thing you will see this portal season is staff really focusing on the trenches on both sides. Need to bring in as many OL and DL as we possibly can. That’s what wins you football games.

Keep an eye on RS FR DT Owen Wafle. Family has a very close relationship with James. Was at Michigan and then Penn State last year At QB - keep an eye on Miles O’Neill. Already has a relationship with Danny OBrien and James. Fits their mold. Cerebral QB who can control a huddle

I’ll just be real … bringing in a QB like Ethan Grunkemeyer would instantly change this program. This kid a leader and would be the perfect mentor for Troy Huhn. Grunk to Luke Reynolds would feed families

Interesting conundrum QB Future Bryce Baker is a stud. He was a redshirt last year at UNC but almost flipped to Franklin. Would have 4 years of eligibility. Grunk is a stud. Played last year and proved his worth. Obviously committed to Franklin at PSU. 3 yrs eligibility

Just something to think about. This is a complete rebuild for Franklin & co. Yes there are funds to be used but in year 1 it’s going to be more about finding as many talented bodies as possible and not high end finishing pieces types. Grunk wasn’t cheap. Have faith 🦃
