Gods judgment is God’s kindness. If it brings you to your knees and lead you back to him then the pain was purposeful.

The Lord stands at the door and knock (Rev. 3:20) waiting for us to invite Him into our lives. Your level of intimacy with God is dependent on you.

Lord, help your people to know you intimately. I pray their faith is not based upon what they see from their pastor, other Christians, family members or culture but it is established through a personal relationship with you.

I can’t be that way for you when God needs me to be this way for HIM.
