Students should be able to choose how they spend their financial aid dollars on books & supplies. That’s why we sent a letter urging U.S. Department of Education to finalize changes that would eliminate a college's ability to bill students for materials without their say so.

"In 90% of the bookstore operating contracts ...the school received a commission payment based on sales of automatic textbook billing products." If the campus is making a profit and the publisher is making a profit, who is in charge of keeping costs low for students?
