The Leafs are just awful. Treliving and Berube have us in a real mess.

How can you let Treliving manage the Leafs trade deadline? Dude is getting fired into the sun in the summer. You cannot let him have his fingerprints on what happens next here.

I have never been this angered in my 20+ years of watching the leafs. No GM has fumbled this hard. He had all the pieces to win. You let Marner leave for nothing, you lose out next 2 1st round picks and then you do NOTHING to improve the team around Matthews.

It's unfathomable the amount of damage Treliving and Pelley have done to this team in one year. Berube too. Fire them all today. Do it. Do it right now.

Soft and purposeless. The Leafs are one of the biggest collection of wimps you could put together, and it starts at the top with the guy who got taken out last night. Whole thing is rotten.

two things can be and are true at once.. 1) the leafs should have absolutely 1000% stood up for matthews after the gudas hit 2) matthews has never stood up for a teammate comradery is a two way street and the hallmark of a great hockey team. leafs are a bunch of individuals.

As a buyer, the Leafs left Carlo to the last minute and had to pay a premium. As a seller, the Leafs left Laughton to the last minute and got pathetic value. This management group, on a fundamental level, doesn't know what they're doing. Going forward like this is a non-option.
