Always give my wife credit, but since my accident on the first, she has really knocked it out of the park. It also made me realize how much my boys are a part of my soul, & I was depressed in the hospital without them.

In addition to the boys being autistic, one of the boys is hyperlexic and already spelling though he doesn't really talk.

While I can't wait to get back to work, being on short term disability has given me a greater appreciation for my wife and what she deals with ever day, as well as a better bond with my boys. #brightside #parenting #owthathurt

Finally started potty training today with our kid who talks more. Hard to get autistic kids to understand you, let alone understand something they know is wrong is actually ok. But it's also cute to hear them try and reassure themselves with a limited vocabulary.

Everyone says doing things with twins is twice as hard. That's incorrect, it's squared, then doubled, then cubed. But when all that complicated math is done, it's still twice as rewarding.
