Heartbreaking injury loss for Nisha, as she looked so explosive in her attacks. Such a big improvement from the past, glad she got to come in place of Kakran, hopefully she recovers fast as she seems to be turning into a more mature wrestler. #WrestleBelgrade

Just like many other 🇮🇳 🤼‍♂️'s Ravi has a terrible leg defense & he heavily relies on his cardio to make comebacks in the 2nd half which was bound to not work everytime, esp. against technical 🤼‍♂️ with pinpoint leg attacks, having the ability to get points fast.

CA Shubham Singh SM @Saurabh44543772 The problem is that I feel he needs better coaching. There is no lack in strength & cardio, leg defense was the real culprit and someone needs to make him improve that area. He overworks on his upper body & cardio which is not needed, his legs are too thin...

Only 1 🇮🇳 male wrestler was allowed to play in the U23 🌐 Championships and he went on to win the 1st ever 🥇medal for India in this age format. Such a classy win by him, will certainly be the 1 to keep an 👁‍🗨 on in the future & will be Ravi's main competitor

Only the 2nd 🇮🇳 fighter to get a UFC contract, and he did it dominantly. He is decent on the feet but chose to go for takedowns to get the W which made sense as the other guy is a KO artist & a brawler. Show some Respect! to this man, he is creating a legacy

Bo Nickal asked Daniel Cormier what to expect in his UFC debut. Maybe its just the wrestler in me, but DC's answer gave me goosebumps. DC is every wrestler-turned-fighter's big brother. True coach.

@Palash13115692 Эндрю Sujeet, Jaglan and Naveen have the potential, but they won't thrive just under 🇮🇳 coaches. They need foreign ones too, and they should be regularly sent abroad for training. They all seem to hit a very high point, but fail to get it to the next lvl

Ravi Dahiya will be finally back in the next ranking series, after being in rehabilitation for a long time because of a knee injury. He has also stated the reasons why he failed big time in the last World Championships. uww.org/article/wrestl…

I always wonder why these kushti freaks who are in much better shape than our wrestlers at 97 & 125 kg 🇮🇳 Team, don't want to play for India. Lesser money & being more comfortable wrestling in the mud could be the reasons. I wish they would've taken up mat 🤼‍♂️

Bloody Elbow Wrestlers might look small but what really differentiates them from most body builders is that they have huge functional strength...they work more on the growth of functional muscles and lesser on the aesthetic ones.

MMA Mania This is beautiful to watch, Jon being from a wrestling background goes for the double leg, trip & body control though he also has the strength/size advantage which makes that easy for him. While Gordon is trying to find a submission, which is the natural instinct of a BJJ artist

Aman should make it to the Olympics, thanks to his favorable bracket, but Sujeet & Deepak aren't so lucky as they have a much arduous path to the finals. If they would lose in the semis, they would still have a chance at making it to the OG by winning the bronze through repechage

Sujeet 65 kg won an extremely tough match against the former World U20🥇Jalolov by 3-2, now most probably he should win all his matches ahead till the semifinals where he might end up facing Retherford/Tulga/Kudiev & all of them bring a very formidable & a hard to beat skillset

Boo's ring out in the arena as Pak of North Korea wins at the last second in a crazy match against Nisha of India. I think fans believe Pak deliberately injured Nisha's elbow, which is possible. Nisha was up big then gave up a TD, several guts then a takedown as time expired.

Glad, that I didn't emotionally invest myself into this Olympics because of the learnings that I had got from the heartbreaks in the last 3 ones before it. Atleast in Tokyo, my fav wrestler Ravi won a 🥈 & Neeraj was the saving grace with his🥇, but nothing can redeem this one 🫣

Proposed Immediate Rule Changes for UWW: 1.) 1kg second Day Weight Allowance. 2.) Weigh-ins pushed from 8:30am to 10:30am. 3.) Forfeit will occur in future finals if opposing finalist misses weight. 4.) After a semifinal victory, both finalists’ medals are secured even if
