It was great to see the future of voting in College Park tonight. Hats off to the entire team that made this possible Hart InterCivic, Enhanced Voting, Center for Civic Design, City of College Park, The Turnout, The Council of State Governments, and Microsoft Research to name a few.
It was great writing the voter registration report with the fabulous team of Seo-young Silvia Kim, Michael Morse, and Stephen Pettigrew with help with Jon Griffiths, Liz Stark, and Katie Steele from PORES. Long story short, so much research on voter registration is needed.
MIT Election Lab has published a series of white papers detailing the state of the field in 7 areas of election administration. The goal is to identify best practices and holes in the literature that would lead to better elections. Check it out: electionlab.mit.edu
