1) Limited space can be controlled by ppl who decide where to hold the speech, rendering it an unconvincing excuse. (Also, assign a pool reporter.) 2) A good reminder anytime Mayor Eric Adams says the press isn’t covering him fairly that an important speech was restricted to the press.
