Today I am at Toronto Region Board of Trade’s Race for Space symposium on the future of Toronto’s employment lands. With border and trade conversations where they are, this feels like a timely conversation on how we can strengthen our local and national economy.

Great to see a Ward 4, Parkdale-High Park move a motion looking for an update on HAF initiatives at the upcoming meeting of Council. It will be helpful to know where this body of work stands and what might be accelerated.

Very good framing of the issue. To achieve scale and impact at the level being proposed, this program will essentially be a “housing pipeline” running through every established municipality and neighbourhood in the country.
