On September 20, 2021, the Triple Tree Aerodrome officially welcomed the opening of our 2021 Fall Series of events. The General Aviation Triple Tree Fly-In (September 20-26) had a record 732 aircraft which comprised over 1,300 aircraft movements

movements making the Triple Tree Aerodrome one of the busiest airports in South Carolina for that week. We continued the celebration with our 3rd Nall in the Fall Radio Control event (October 1-9), where we had 602 registered pilots spread out across our 400-acre facility.

We had 1,334 pilots (General Aviation and Radio Control) throughout these two weeks' events and attendances over 11,000 guests. These pilots and spectators came from across our great nation representing 46 states and were supported by hundreds of dedicated volunteers.

We are proud that these events support the facility and our Aviation Centered Educational (ACE) portfolio. During these two weeks, we have generated over half of a million dollars in economic impact to our area. We are proud to be contributing members of our community.

As the 2021 event season comes to an end, we expect record numbers for our 2022 series of events, including our largest event, the Joe Nall Week Radio Control event (May 6-14, 2022). Please visit tta.aero for our 2022 schedule of events

The rains stopped earlier today. We just finished a runway check, and the winds have picked up and should dry the runway overnight.
