“I… I mean I /guess/ it’s okay? Could’ve asked though.”

The dragon turtle recoils a bit, pulling back slightly and continuing to squint at the other. “You’re fine, no need to make a big deal out of it-” Hesitant pat.

The turtle just looks around, at this point just a /little/ confused at what the hell was going on. “You… you okay?”

“I never /wasn’t/ fine. You just sorta freaked out there.” Another pat for Shao. Turt isn’t the best at this but she’s trying.

Squinting and crossing her arms. …She’ll allow it.

Her cheeks are all puffed up now, the turtle still squinting at Shao. “Hmph.”

“And why should I?” Crossed arms, still squinting. She’s staring right back, still squinting and everything.

“Hmph!” The turtle thinks for a few seconds, before letting out a deep sigh and letting her face go to… normal. Or not-frowning, since frowning /is/ her normal.

Shao is going to get bonked.

Turtonator’s cheeks flushed a bit when she was kissed there, but at those second words her eyes had focused back into a glare. 𝘽𝙊𝙉𝙆. And now she’s walking away, angy.

“Don’t even try that! You know /exactly/ what you did.” A growl, as a puff of smoke is exhaled from Turt’s nostrils. She knows what Shao is trying to do, and doesn’t like it one bit.

Glaring with crossed arms. “What do you want?”

The glare intensifies, followed by a puff of smoke leaving the dragon turtle’s nostrils. “That had better be it. No weird whispers.”

Yet another huff of smoke leaves Turt as she simply turns, and starts going the other way.

“Not falling for your tricks. Dunno if that’s worked for you before, but it won’t work here.” Continuing to walk, completely ignoring the taps to her shoulder.

“/What/.” She turns around, very clearly unamused by any of this. Almost as if at any moment, she could snap.

“Whatever.” Another, slightly lighter huff of smoke before she starts walking away again. She’s still very upset, but having her apologize helped a little. Not much.
