Being faithful to the truth means offering up to God all our powers--practical, intellectual, emotional, artistic--to live for Him in every area of life. The only expression such faith can take is one that captures our entire being and redirects our every thought.

Taken together, the Beatitudes are one way to answer the question, “What does it mean to live like Jesus?”  And that is more than enough for now.  Study them individually, but also collectively—and then “live” them comprehensively.
