Next week, MPs will vote on extreme proposals that would allow abortion up to birth in Britain. Such a move would be deeply unpopular, but most people—including MPs—are completely unaware of how the tactics of the pro-abortion lobby have brought us to this point. This video

Stop the euthanasia bill that threatens to kill off the sick and elderly! This is a great and quick way to write to your MP asking them to oppose it. We are running out of time before your relatives are put at risk!

🚨Doctor assisted suicide for England & Wales🚨 13 key issues to be decided on Friday 13th Only Kim’s amendments are guaranteed a decision — but all of these should be put to a vote. MPs must engage with the detail of what is in THIS Bill and what precisely they are saying yes

MPs supporting this Bill need to know what it actually does - and answer these questions with their votes tomorrow. I'm sorry to say too many MPs are still relying on their abstract support for Assisted Dying rather than engaging with the detail of the actual Bill before us.

All this at stake tomorrow… the Bill as it stands is not fit for purpose. It’s not safe and is a liability for so many vulnerable people who are not adequately protected.

A spokesperson for Ms. Leadbeater said: “It’s an old story." 🤬 And they say the vulnerable have nothing to worry about our society changing with this Bill. It’s already happened in the Commons.

I think a lot of women are uncomfortable with this extreme proposal but don't want to say so for fear of drawing the ire of a small number of feminists who (in my view) are quite fanatical about abortion as an issue. I have no doubt that my posting this will do the same but I

Tomorrow’s vote on euthanasia is cloaked in euphemism. If we can’t be honest with ourselves, how can we be confident that we are making good law? open.substack.com/pub/tomtugendh…

Oh, but we do know what's driving prosecutions. In 2020, we started allowing women to perform their own abortions at home without an in-person appointment to verify gestational age. Women then started using pills to have abortions after the legal limit.

“In 2005, the Voluntary Euthanasia Society rebranded themselves Dignity in Dying. This was a smart move as the word euthanasia is tainted for its use by the Nazis: it is far easier to rally behind the idea of dignity.” #AssistedDyingBill

Tonia Antoniazzi claims “no woman… wants to kill her child” (her words) late in pregnancy. But this court verdict from 2012 shows a woman aborted her baby at 39 weeks to cover up an affair. Under Antoniazzi's proposal, this would no longer be an offence. judiciary.uk/wp-content/upl…

RCP and RCPsych say the bill is not safe and not clearly thought through. For something of this magnitude that is not good enough. I hope MPs heed their warnings.

On my way back to London for the Assisted Dying bill. I can see a libertarian case for the bill, but not a liberal one. Liberals know that our rights must not be at the expense of others losing theirs. Given 47% of Oregon AD deaths were self-coercion, it fails the liberal test.
