You can not be a trauma-informed school if you are restraining, secluding, suspending, expelling, and subjecting kids to corporal punishment. These punitive approaches cause trauma. #endseclusion

Too many people wait until they're exhausted or depressed to make change or seek help. Mental health isn't something to put on the back burner. We can't keep good habits in storage until we need them. Mental hygiene should be as ingrained in our daily routine as dental hygiene.

The teacher-student relationship is critical for success in the classroom, and the administration-teacher relationship is critical for success of a school. Relationships before rigor!
