It's my big pleasure to share the first paper of my PhD with Milan Malinsky You can read the preprint here: doi.org/10.1101/2024.0… In this paper, we study recombination in the context of an early stage of speciation (the origin of new species) in cichlid fishes. 🐠

How does limited dispersal influence the substitution rate of adaptive alleles? @MullonDlm and I look at this in our new study in Genetics: doi.org/10.1093/geneti… In contrast to previous findings, we show that adaptation can be faster under limited dispersal!
