A filler issue to stretch this mini series out 5 issues. Slasher and their young apprentice argue about updating his style of kills to be more relevant by using tech but he’s old school. Overall it’s been entertaining but the killer’s motive has been just to kill for fun. Lame 👎

The battle of good vs evil is strong within Eddie Brock as Carnage continues to try and get the upper hand 😈 I’m still really enjoying this series and towards the top of my favorite current ongoing marvel reads this year. It’s superheroes/villains along with Horror aspects 🖤

Lemire has a fascination for the Kid Eternity character. I can remember him putting out a 1-Shot many years ago that was really random but still great! In this issue we get a panel depicting how they’ve evolved through the years and it was cool. It feels like series end soon tho?

It was pretty good. A woman in her early 30s has commitment issues and tries to back out of an engagement proposal literally while in her car where she ends up running over Cupid 💘 Now she has to help Cupid’s ghost do his job or she goes to jail and he will pass on to afterlife.

Great comic that cracks me up b/c I had no interest in Ultimate anything when 1st announced lol. Checked this out. Loved it and still going! I think that also opened me up to giving Absolute DC books a chance which have also been great!! Creative team has remained consistent 👍👍

If you can’t tell from the cover our two heroes are in the Savage Land! 🦖 Wolverine is slicing up a T-Rex while Spidey delivers punchlines and it’s a good time! It looks like each issue follows the previous but sets them on a new adventure. How bout those costumes?! Brown/Black!

Dark and grimy read but noble. I first experienced Toxic Avenger with the toys and toons as a kid. Later as a very young adult I had a roommate introduce me to all the Troma movies which were wild to me then! Mind blowing actually 😂 So it’s cool to see Toxie in comics now 🙂🧹

Always amazes me when I discover a new movie this good that I’ve somehow never seen and especially from the 80s which makes me wonder what else I’ve missed?! Harrison Ford protects a young Amish boy who witnesses a murder that exposes police corruption. Top notch viewing tonight!

I’ve loved this one since I was a kid! It’s been many years since I’ve seen it but still as awesome as I remembered it!! Kevin Bacon, Reba McEntire, and company fight to survive gigantic killer mutated earth worms!!! It’s still the only film I’ve seen from the franchise lol. 🪱

Black Cat the superhero?! New series that loosely ties in with what’s going on in Amazing Spider-Man 🕸️ I like that her 2 henchmen are still with her and the comic has a lil spice to it 🌶️ Pretty cool and fun comic 🐈‍⬛

We get to see how another branch of the Justice League operates lead by Red Tornado who I’ll always have a soft spot for due to Kenner Super Powers❗️Art was awesome, story ok. I’m going to pass on rest of 6 issue series. Power Girl and GL Baz heavy with rest of team still to join

Hard as nails war story where animals are at battle! It was a very LOUD comic if that makes any sense lol. Guns, planes, shouting, and explosions!!! It’s a quality comic with spectacular art but don’t know that I care enough? I recognize it’s done well but still feel nothing… 🤷‍♂️

An origin given for Absolute Bane 💪 I feel like books like these are what you go to the comic shop for 👍 It kicks butt! It kicks my butt!! In reading this issue it felt like I was taking in a full course meal 🍽️ Satisfying, full, flavorful, and beefy 🥩🥩🥩

Big action and awesome art! THING vs Everybody!! 😤 I enjoyed this more than the actual Fantastic Four movie 😅 All of them!!!!

Great celebration of Batman as we hit this milestone of #1,100 with multiple pretty cool short stories! 🎉 It’s rare I get main and variant cover but had to have both!! Huge fan of Batman ‘66 and the regular cover commemorated the event well 👏👏👏 Always got love for The Bat 🦇

I’ve stuck to original plan of only reading main series and not the tie-ins which might be why I’m not loving this event?! Also a bit much to drop this at same time as One World Under Doom which I’ve pretty much stuck to main story avoiding tie-ins also. I’m glad it ends soon 😬

Roughly 25 more issues and ASM hits #1,000! 🤯 So after fighting Hellgate, in which Spidey was almost killed, a new Spider-Man and Peter Parker has emerged??? Intrigued to see where this goes?! It’s not revealed yet but the Hellgate fight was so vague that it has to mean more! 🕷️
