Excited to share another preprint from my lab: biorxiv.org/content/10.110… . We found that GABA reduced uptake of VMAT2 substrates in synaptic vesicles with low affinity and we discovered that most human midbrain dopamine neurons express GAT1 suggesting they may co-release GABA.
