🚨A convenient day to bury inconvenient news? The impact assessment for the assisted suicide Bill is set to be published just two weeks before it returns to the Commons & while MPs are distracted by the local elections. This is not the transparency the Bill requires.

The government's assisted dying equality impact assessment focuses on the ability of people to *access* assisted dying. Not at the impact on vulnerable groups more likely to suffer wrongful deaths. Unbelievable given the parliamentary debate. It's completely unfit for purpose.
