Our recent study now in Science Signaling: SARS-CoV-2 hijacks host protein kinases; or how we used #TheKinaseLibrary to reconstruct a full signaling cascade from scratch. A wonderful collaboration with @heatonlab @BrookHeaton5 Cell Signaling Technology Benjamin tenOever #BlenisLab Tomer M. Yaron-Barir 1/14

A resource to identify candidate substrates for almost all memembers of a major class of human kinase enzyme could help improve our understanding of cell signalling in helath and disease, say Sean Humphrey & Elise Needham go.nature.com/3iwgjqF

Very well written overview of our recent study about the Ser/Thr kinome. Even we understand it better now 😄 Thank you Elise Needham and Sean Humphrey!

Congratulations to Dr. Tomer M. Yaron (Tomer M. Yaron-Barir), from Weill Cornell Medicine Meyer Cancer Center and WCM Englander Institute for Precision Medicine, on his new paper "#SARSCoV2 hijacks p38β/MAPK11 to promote #virus replication," in mBio! #COVID19 #pandemic #mRNA journals.asm.org/doi/full/10.11…

Now in press! Epinephrine inhibits PI3Kα via the Hippo kinases: thank you Tingyu.MollyLin for your patience, hard work, and dedication. Thank you #JaredJohnson and Cantley Lab for the collabo. cell.com/cell-reports/f…

The tyrosine kinome was my very first rotation project back in October 2017. I used to take the entire time during lab meetings because Jared and Lew would get into a trance looking at matrices. Now our (second) baby is out! 🥳 The Kinase Library

"The intrinsic substrate specificity of the human tyrosine kinome," was published in nature on May 8th by Drs. Tomer M. Yaron-Barir, Huntsman, Kerelsky, Cizin, and Cohen from Weill Cornell Medicine Meyer Cancer Center & WCM Englander Institute for Precision Medicine, with EIPM Director Dr. Elemento (Olivier Elemento) nature.com/articles/s4158…

Happy to see a large part of my PhD out today Cell Systems! We mapped the early subcellular response to BRAF inhibition using time-series phosphoproteomics & transcriptomics, to ask how cancer cell signaling networks are remodeled by oncoprotein inhibition.
