Decided to pick up a new YouTube entertainment since "Visa on arrival" is on hold. My latest obsession? "is this seat taken?" All I can say is Chinasa? Wow! I am currently falling down a rabbit hole Pray for me guys (or maybe don't😉)

Day 1: Great things have happened by Alden Nowlan. This poem made me feel like I was there that one night in 1963, living in a three room flat with Claudine, Johnnie and the author and it was the greatest thing 💖✨️ #31daysofpoetry #31poemstogettoknowme

Day 2: Collective nouns for humans in the wild by Kathy Fish. Trust me, you have never seen collective nouns used the way this writer uses it. It is clever and unforgettable. 💖✨️

Day 3: Variation on a theme by Elizabeth Bishop "Learn to lose as if your life depended on it. Learn that your life depends on it." #31daysofpoetry #31poemstogettoknowme

Day 4: The loneliest job in the world by an unknown author. "This is the loneliest job in the world: to be an accountant of the heart." I love how this poem describes the familiar feeling of being left out (of love) in such a beautiful way. #31daysofpoetry #31poemstogettoknowme

Day 5: We real cool by Gwendolyn Brooks. Love this poem (and this poet) so so much, anytime I read it, I find myself singing or rapping the words. 😂✨️💖 #31daysofpoetry #31poemstogettoknowme
