3/3 Bruised soles and glass splinters twice. 3km of stone chip rd the worst! But guess what?? No blisters so far unlike most shoe-walkers.

Would I change it? Would I prefer walking in shoes? Every step is a conscious one, and a step 2wards a lower carbon footprint. #treadlightly

We've found Switzerland's rarest orchid - finally, after 2hrs of searching! Only found 2 plants. Last seen 20yrs ago.

In amongst the marshy plants we find the delicious tangy fruit of the European cranberry, Vaccinium oxycoccus.
